Latest Update: CBSE board exams for Classes 10 and 12 has beed started. The exams will be conducted for more than 44 lakh students in 8,000 schools in India and 26 other nations. Students must be present with examinations in attendance to appear for the exams. The board has already declared that classes 10 and 12 board exams will begin on February 15, 2025.

1.0CBSE Board Exam 2025 Dress Code Summary

CBSE has already announced a dress code for board exams in the 2025 session of Class 10th and 12th. It is to make the testing environment equal and safe for all the students. These guidelines require all students to follow them for a smooth examination process.

Key Dress Code Rules

• Plain Simple Clothes: Cloths should be plain and simple, and not distracted by bright neon colors or clothes with brands and logos.
• No revealing clothes: Short skirts, sleeveless shirts, and low-cut dresses are strictly not allowed.
• No jewelry: Ear ring, necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc. must be removed from the neck before entering the exam hall.
• Hair Accessories: Hair clips, bands, and headbands are not accepted.
• Electronic Gadgets: The following electronic items are not accepted in the hall. Mobile Phones, Smart Watch, Tablet End.

Permitted Items

• Plain White Shirt or Kurta: A plain white shirt or kurta is acceptable attire.
• Plain black or blue trousers or a skirt may also be allowed at school for girls.
• Shoes: Comfortable, quiet shoes are allowed.
• Socks: Socks are optional.

Prohibited Items

• Branded or logo clothing
• Revealing attire
• Jewelry
• Hair accessories
• Electronic devices
• Any item deemed a potential distraction

3.0CBSE Class X and XII Board Exam Date Sheet for 2025 - Officially Released

This is a communication addressed to Class 10th and 12th Students affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education towards giving them information on their date sheet for the 2025 Board Exams. For further details please refer to the official Website of CBSE.

• Exam Dates: Board exams for both Class X and XII will commence on February 15th, 2025.
• Preparing Date Sheet: The date sheet has been designed keeping in view several factors.
• There are enough breaks between the exams usually taken by students within both the classes.
• The schedule ensures that exams end much before the entrance exams of Class XII students so that they have ample time to manage for themselves.
• By avoiding scheduling two chosen subjects on a single day, the date sheet manages to cover more than 40,000 subject combinations.
• All the examinations will start at 10:30 AM IST.
