JEE Main 2027 Exam Dates: NTA JEE Mains Dates Session 1 & Session 2

The JEE Main 2027 exam will be conducted in two sessions — Session 1 in January 2027 and Session 2 in April 2027. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is expected to be held in the afternoon shift from 3 PM to 6 PM. Meanwhile, Paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning) will be conducted in the morning shift from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates can appear in either one or both sessions to improve their scores.

4.0How To Fill the Registration Form for JEE Main 2027?

Follow below steps to fill out the JEE Main 2027 Registration form:

Step-1 Visit the NTA’s JEE Main 2027 Official website.

Step-2 Register by entering your basic details like name, email address, mobile number, etc.

Step-3 Now, log in using the credentials provided and fill out the JEE Main 2027 Application Form.

Step-5 Pay the registration fee.

5.0JEE Main 2027 Exam Details

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) comprises two papers.

Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognised by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.

• Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch. and B. Planning courses in the Country.
• The exam will be conducted in 13 languages, i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
• Only Session 1 will be visible in the first session of JEE Main - 2027, and candidates can opt for that.
• Session 2 will be visible in the next session, and the candidates can opt for it. The Session 2 application window will be reopened according to the details in the Information Bulletin and will also be notified separately through a Public Notice.

6.0Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates are required to fill out the registration form for JEE Main exam 2027 through the “Online” mode only from the official website.  The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.

• A candidate must submit only one application, they are not allowed to fill out more than one Application Form, and strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against those who have done so.
• Candidates must strictly follow the instructions in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates who do not comply with the instructions will be summarily disqualified.
• Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents/Guardians only, as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only.
