KAMP-NASTA

KAMP Nasta is the short form for the National Assessment for Scientific Temperament & Aptitude. It is an assessment initiative that tests the scientific aptitude and skills of students in some of the various subjects like Science, EVS/Social Science, Mathematics, and Digital Literacy/Computers/Information Technology. KAMP Nasta is assessed from students in grade 5th to 10th. It is the KPMC Academic-Sub Committee's responsibility to craft the test specifications and framework that will act as blueprints for the assessment. 

The committee determines the schedule for the assessments, the content to be tested, and examines and finalizes the evaluation questions. The NASTA framework does not espouse any specific method of instruction, but it gives a basis for sincere discussion regarding high-quality educational standards and assessments.

1.0About KAMP NASTA Olympiad

The KAMP-NASTA assessment aims to assess students' current level of scientific temper and provide them with comprehensive advisories on how to improve and develop their scientific skills. It also offers advisories for teachers and schools separately. Schools and students enrolled in KAMP become members of the KAMP Junior Scientist Club.

To participate in the KAMP NASTA 2025 exam, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Students from classes 3rd to 12th are eligible to participate in KAMP NASTA.

School Board:

• The program is open to students from all boards, including:

  • ICSE/ISC
  • Other State Boards
• Pre-graduation students from ITI/Polytechnic and other educational institutions can also participate.

KAMP NASTA Exam Application Fee Details

The application fee for the KAMP NASTA exam depends on the type of school you attend:

• Self-Financed Schools/Institutions: The fee is Rs. 400/- per student.
• Government-Supported Schools (including Kendriya Vidyalaya and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya): The fee is Rs. 300/- per student.
