1.0What is Hindustan Olympiad?

The Hindustan Times Olympiad, organised by India's biggest newspaper, The Hindustan Times, has been empowering students for the past nine years. Starting in 2015, this prestigious Olympiad provided a platform for students to compete at the national level. 

The Hindustan Olympiad has a 2-hour test of 5 subjects for every class. The test is based on MCQ questions, and students can write the test in Hindi or English. The awards and recognition given to winners speak volumes about their hard work and talent. Students can exhibit their skills, get useful assessment reports, and receive certificates, trophies, and cash scholarships. The Hindustan Olympiad is an excellent platform for students to excel and get noticed for their scholastic accomplishments.

Hindustan Olympiad is a national level test taken for students ranging from class 1 to class 12. This eligibility criterion has to be fulfilled by students to take part in the Olympiad.

5.0Hindustan Olympiad Syllabus and Exam Pattern

The Hindustan Olympiad differs from other Olympiad tests as it evaluates students' proficiency in all core subject areas. Every participant in the Hindustan Olympiad receives a diploma and an assessment report, providing valuable feedback on their performance.

6.0How to Register for the Hindustan Olympics 2025-26 Exam?

Candidates can register for the Hindustan Olympiad 2025-26 by filling out some of the basic details on the registration link - hindustanolympiad.in/

Step -1 Visit the top right corner and click on the “Participate Now” option. 

Step -2 Then, you need to select whether you are a Student/Parent or School.

Step -3 Fill out the name, City, Contact details etc.

Step - 4 You will receive a message regarding the olympiad registration process.

Important Note: This is just an enquiry form, actual registration will happen from the student's School’s end.

7.0Hindustan Olympiad Sample Papers

Hindustan Olympiad sample papers may prove to be a goldmine of information in preparing for an exam. They assist you in understanding the test pattern, types of questions, and overall Hindustan Olympiad pattern more clearly. Examining past year sample papers also assists applicants in comprehending the exam format and question type better.

These model papers serve as a reference point, giving details of the number and types of questions. Using them, students are able to prepare well for the Hindustan Olympiad. The examination is held in English and Hindi and comprises 50 multiple-choice questions.

8.0Hindustan Olympiad Results Declaration and Awards

The authorities will declare the results soon after the exams are conducted. Students should note that all prizes and Hindustan Olympiad Awards are currently given at the district and state levels.

  • Result Announcement: The results will be sent to the schools and uploaded on the Hindustan Olympiad’s official website.
  • School Level: All participating students will receive a participation certificate, a performance report, and an assessment report.
  • District Level:
    • Cash scholarship prize of Rs. 1100, Rs. 2100, and Rs. 3100 for top 3 toppers.
    • Participation certificate.
    • Performance report.
  • State Level (Regional Toppers):
    • Cash scholarship prize of Rs. 4100, Rs. 5100 and Rs. 6100 for top 3 toppers. 
    • Merit certificate.
    • Trophies.

  • Lucky Draw Prizes:
  • >90% marks: 10 lucky winners (2 in each region) will win a car>75% Marks: 15 lucky winners (3 in each region) will win an Electric scooter.
  • All India Toppers: Top Three Students in each class will win a laptop, tablet and mobile phone respectively.

All toppers will be honoured during a felicitation ceremony. If any student is unable to attend the ceremony, they can collect their award from the nearest Hindustan Times office.
