1.0What is SASMO?

The SASMO International Math Olympiad, established in 2006, stands as one of the premier math competitions in Asia. By 2019, it drew over 30,000 participants from 21 countries, expanding to include more than 35 countries and territories by 2021.

SASMO's contests are designed to challenge students' latent thinking abilities, setting high standards that not only enhance their performance in school mathematics but also develop their advanced thinking skills (HOTS).

This competition can help improve the students’ math grades because they can apply problem-solving strategies learnt during the training to their daily school mathematics.
